This is still a problem in Quantal up-to-date. This bug is annoying. It doesn't just occur for netbook users it occurs for people with low resolution displays as well. It would be great if it were fixed. Still occurs in quantal 12.10 beta 2. 1680x1050 It occurs not only in libreoffice. But I think it happens on all open and save dialogs that occur for programs in ubuntu. Is there a way where the window decoration remembers to just auto maximise. This is still a problem in Precise. It seems the issue still exists in Oneiric as reported in the duplicate bug report.
