Re: [CGUYS] Rotate pages in a .pdf file
Fred, If you're using a Mac I'd recommend GraphicConverter (http://www.lemkesoft.com/gc-en.html). Fred Holmes wrote: Can anyone recommend a utility to rotate the image of a page in a .pdf file? Just to fix the failure of the "autodetect" function of the software that comes with a scanner that directly produces .pdf files of the scanned document. I.e., I only need n x 90 deg rotations. I have found one, but it's a command line program. It works fine, but is inconvenient to use. I'd like to just page through the document on screen, and fix any page that is "wrong" as I encounter it. Then save the modified .pdf file. There are many .pdf file editors out there. Most make no mention at all of the page image rotation function. Some hint at it, but it's not clear from the description whether the function exists at all. I don't mind paying a fee, say in the less than $50 range. If the only option is full scale Adobe Acrobat Pro, I'll stick with the command line program. Re: [CGUYS] Rotate pages in a .pdf file
I'll give it a try. I thought that the default .pdf file could not be saved, only ones that were made to be edited (i.e., form fill-in). Adobe Reader can rotate the pages easily enough, and it's free. Can't they then be saved? Dan * ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *
[CGUYS] Rotate pages in a .pdf file
