Re: [CGUYS] website parked

Right now that link is just parked at godaddy as you said. It's
showing their standard parking page. Change the nameservers to point
to her host, and have her create an index.html page of her own and
place it in her public_html directory.

PS I can't get through to .com either. It's asking for a login.

I use .com, and have put the items i wish on it.

my wife uses .net...She decided to put those items near and dear to her on
slawecki.net should be no problem, as we have a contract with allnet to
allow 30gign on their server. however, godaddy.com has parked their standard
advertising on the site. how do I get that garbage off of there?

i checked the registration, and unless in the very fine print, i have not
given them permission to post on the site. i also have not specifically
denied them the right to post on that site.

Opinion: All that stuff should be in a sub directory. A home page
named after your family should have a message to the ages, and contact
information for today. Hi! Welcome to the S family. We're from x and I
can be reached at y.

Right now there's nothing there that you couldn't store at any number
of web sites for free.
