" I've just tried to boot with the "other.img" on my Sony VIAO C1XD to install Mandrake 8.0. USB floppy drive IDE Hard drive SCSI cdrom connected thru AHA-1480 It seems that "other.img" floppy is incomplete or broken. Here are message I got from the second console (Alt-F2 screen) pcmcia:probing PCI bus ricoh RL5C475 found, 2 sockets haveto insmod pcmcia_core needs pcmcia_core file_not_found_in_archive pcmcia_core.o warning:insmod failed (pcmcia_core(null))(-2) .. cut .. CM:cardmgr/hacked starting,version is 3.1.23 CM:chdir to /etc/pcmcia failed:no such file or directory CM:cardmgr:failed cardmgr rc:-1 Could you please put back apa1480_cb into "pcmcia.img" or fix "other.img" ?
