+1 from me. I verified that the line ending characters for all scripts were correct. I did notice, however, that the .bat scripts do not have CRLF as their eol-style attribute in svn; this is harmless in result but probably should be corrected at some point. The results of the compilation are not used. The compilation is meant to find errors, nothing more. If the jsp's are getting compiled, then why does the war file in the "example" dist directory has jsps inside of it? Eclipse does compile your jsps as you edit them, so is this simply making sure the jsps are correct and that there is no conversion from jsp to java?
