RE: branch CI turned off
Speaking of, the 1.1 feature set looks to resolve most of the current issues we have with daily use of Continuum. Do the developers have any sense of when we might be able to expect a 1.1 release? I don't mean to pressure, and I'm not relying on any particular answer, but it would help us know how much effort to put on workaround solutions, vs. just deferring the efforts until 1.1 is released. RE: branch CI turned off
Please don't remove the branch, as I'm making some local fixes on it. I would End-of-life (remove) the branch once you have released 1.1.x Regards, Christian. christian gruber + agile coach and architect Israfil Consulting Services Corporation email [EMAIL PROTECTED] + bus +1 (905) 6401119 cell: +1 (416) 998-6023 + cell: +1 (410) 900-0796 -Original Message- From: Brett Porter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, May 29, 2006 3:50 AM To: Continuum Developers Subject: branch CI turned off I've turned off the CI build for continuum-1.0.x, since the development focus will all be on trunk now. Re: branch CI turned off
theoretically, but it isn't really the case :-) I applied a patch after the release and before the merge with trunk. I think we'll can remove it when trunk will be in a stable state. I'm not agree to remove the more stable branch even if it isn't the development branch. I'm not sure if we should svn rm the branch to save confusion, or move it, or just leave it there. Any thoughts? I'd prefer to leave it, at least for a while, as people might have their own custom versions of continuum going and removing it might make it more complicated maintaining patch sets etc. A README.txt could be added to the root to clarify the current state of the branches. -- Trygve
