[Cooker] cooker bugs
1.) /usr/X11R6/bin/wine-strip: can't exec './mirc32.exe': error=0 This happens suddenly with wine for every file I try to run. 2.) netscape-commion is not a good prereg for plugger because of netscape-128. Maybe netscape-128 should be default now that export restrictions have been removed. 3.) [root@walluck /root]# etherdrake sh: etherconfig-text: command not found
Re: [Cooker] Compiling procps-2.0.6-12mdk.src.rpm fails
Chmouel, The output from rpm -bl procps.spec for both the 5mdk and 12mdk source packages are exactly the same (other than the output listing 5mdk and 12mdk). [Cooker] Installer
Hey Pixel, we all apreciate the work your doing on the installer. Would it be possible to get a changelog on the installer so we can see what was changed and what we should be testing during changes to the installer? On a side note. Last time I did an Install, GNOMECC was no anywhere on the menus in GNOME+enlightenment. I'm going to install tonight and see if it's fixed.

[Cooker] Compiling procps-2.0.6-12mdk.src.rpm fails
When I issue the command: rpm -bb -clean procps.spec It fails ending in: Provides: libproc.so.2.0 PreReq: /bin/sh Processing files: procps-X11-2.0.6-12mdk Finding Provides: (using /usr/lib/rpm/find-provides)... Finding Requires: (using /usr/lib/rpm/find-requires)... Requires: /bin/sh This doesn't make sense to me since: /bin/sh exists /bin/sh is a link to /bin/bash (which also exists) /bin/sh and /bin/bash were installed by RPM I can build procps-2.0.6-5mdk.src.rpm with no problems at all. RE: [Cooker] Re: [CHRPM] gedit-0.6.1-2mdk
Looking for a work around for mounting a zip disk in 7.0. I followed the directions to the letter, but the kernel does not like what the operation does to the /etc/fstab file. I get errors (fatal) and have to re-install. [Cooker] dhcpcd
If I add "-R" to the dhcpcd line in /sbin/ifup the resolv.conf gets useless. Where does /etc/rc.d/init.d/network destroy my resolv.conf file? I want to edit the file and keep my changes. seb

gdm is broken! It segfaults after starting. The gdm 2.0beta2 from the helix package has no such problems. Cheers, ~Andreas

[Cooker] ALSA only for "mdk" kernel?
Hello, I noticed that the "alsa*.rpm" contain only modules for the plain kernel. A good starting point, but what about the other kernel-variants like "mdksmp" or "mdkfb" or even "mdksmpfb" (which does not exist...) I do not like to run an uniprocessor kernel in an SMP machine just for the pre-build ALSA modules... Is there any solution in sight (like e.g. alsa-smp)??? So long, Juergen
