I use Galeon maximized, when I close the session using the close widget and restart the application, the session window does not start maximized as it was last closed. There is a 2-3mm space to the right side (looking at the monitor) and you have to unmaximize and re-maximumize the application to maximize it, regardless of the theme running at the time. Other applications seem to work ok. Using current Galeon in Mandrake 9.2 RC1 on PIII/Intel, ATI graphics. Reproduce by starting Galeon, maximize, quit, start Galeon again.

http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5292 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-10-09 22:40 --- I am using the Gnome 2.4 Beta contained in the Mandrake 9.2 RC1. I've noticed that RC2 is available and will be grabbing it as soon as I get the time. This issue may be Gnome specific as I do not have the restore maximized problem when running it under KDE. [Cooker] [Bug 5294] [gnome-panel] Gnome-panel clock applet does not show date correctly
http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5294 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-06-09 07:49 --- Thanks kindly, I suspected you were all over this as I waited a few days to get the RC. Wanted to get more involved... Thanks again, B. The little window that the applet runs in does not resize itself and seems stuck at the size when it displays the time only. This is reproduceable by right clicking on the applet, selecting preferences and checking the show date radio button. Show seconds works correctly but that option does not cause the applet window size to change like the show date option does. Using Gnome 2.4 beta in Mandrake 9.2 RC1 on PIII/Intel with ATI graphics.
