Try with Webmin https://localhost:1/
under servers. SWAT works fine from there

That's what I want to say - there is no solution for
this problem into the current cooker. I expect someone
to say that it will be fixed later.

Re: [Cooker] perl-Digest-MD5

2002-07-31 Thread Gueorgui Mihaylov

I reported a problem with MD5 perl extension a couple
of days ago.
I hope, this time mdk packager will respond.
Installing perl-Digest-MD5-2.20-1.1mdk over the
previous perl5.6 package gives no errors, but it just
doesn't solve the MD5 problem.
I'll mention again, source install of perl & MD5
works fine. For testing purposes :
http://neomail.sourceforge.net/ use setup.pl script

Re: [Cooker] Perl MD5

2002-07-30 Thread Gueorgui Mihaylov

I didn't mention, my install is on pentium 3 machine.
Please, no references to rpm packages, without
testing.
I'm afraid, that if overlooked this problem will
appear into the final 9.0 .

[Cooker] Perl MD5

2002-07-29 Thread Gueorgui Mihaylov

Hi there,
I just noticed a problem, that wasn't fixed in 8.2
too.
Perl scripts that require MD5 module are just stuck if
I install perl only with mdk packages, so I have to
download from CPAN. Source install works, but it is
much more time consuming, than having a ready rpm.

[Cooker] disk quota problem

2002-04-08 Thread Gueorgui Mihaylov

At boot up I have err message:
cannot enable user quotas in /home/aquota.user on
/dev/hdb8 device or resorce busy.

Webmin writes in /home/aquota.user with
edquota
quotacheck
quotaon

Linuxconf writes in /etc/quota.config and it works
(hard limits only)

[Cooker] NETGEAR fa311 whith kernel2.2.19

2001-08-05 Thread Gueorgui Mihaylov

Hi there,
I tried to install fa311.o (natsemi.o) module on a
system with kernel 2.2.19. First I got the assembler
message after fa311.c compilation

/tmp/ccjVShud.s:70: Warning: Ignoring changed section
attributes for .modinfo

then, after insmod fa311.o:

/lib/modules/2.2.19-10mdk/net/fa311.o: unresolved
symbol netif_rx_Rd5d5d73a
/lib/modules/2.2.19-10mdk/net/fa311.o: unresolved
symbol unregister_netdev_Rfe13

Everything's fine with 2.2.17. Are there any security
issues with 2.2.19?

Hi there,
I tried to FTP my computer with LM 8.0 installed.
Anonymous login works, but when I tried to do it as
user I got "incorrect password" message. My
"ftpaccess" file points to
/ect/password and
/ect/shadow

Look at the frequency range of your monitor.
