Re: [Cooker] imap 2000
Yes postfix delivers to /var/spool/mail/user and imap moves it to /home/user/mbox: See: /etc/postfix/main.cf: ** # The home_mailbox parameter specifies the optional pathname of a # mailbox file relative to a user's home directory. The default # mailbox file is /var/spool/mail/user or /var/mail/user. /usr/doc/imap/FAQ: ** A: This is probably caused by the mbox driver. If the file "mbox" exists on the user's home directory and is in UNIX mailbox format, then when INBOX is opened this file will be selected as INBOX instead of the mail spool file. Messages will be automatically transferred from the mail spool file into the mbox file. regarding the symlink /var/spool/mail/user to /home/user/mbox: I got an errormessage in the maillog: procmail: Renmamed bogus "/var/spool/mail/user" into /var/spool/mail/BOGUS.user.VgM.
