2002-03-19 Thread Mario Andrés Yepes C

solved. Now I can mount and unmount smb shares without a problem...

[Cooker] mcc bugs

2002-03-09 Thread Mario Andrés Yepes C

Greetings..

I just finished installing Mdk82beta4 and I have found a couple of bugs worth
looking at (besides the modprobe: Can't locate module floppy stuff allready
reported)

When I try to enabel partition sharing trough smb, mcc installs the needed
packages just fine but after the question "Do you want to allow users to
export some directories in their home?" if I choose 'Custom' mcc stays idle
and reports the following error in the console: "Not an ARRAY reference at/
usr/lib/libDrakX/interactive.pm line 263."

And in certain times, If I choose "Allow all users" mcc exists without report.

And another thing... when I choose a scaner mcc gives no feedback. So I dont
know if it failed or what am I sopoused to do in order to use the scanner.

Bye the way. mcc should ask the user if he/she wants to install the samba
packages in order to enable sharing.

[Cooker] Drakfont problem

2002-02-20 Thread Mario Andrés Yepes C

It seems that drakfont requires groff for the proces of importing windows
fonts. and it doesnt get installed by default.

Should it be included in the list of Requires inside the rpm?

2002-02-04 Thread Mario Andrés Yepes C

Actually, thats not a good idea at all... I tried the same thing traying to
make Opera 6.0 TP2 work with no success

The sollution was to download libpng2 from ftp.sunet.se in the Mandrake-devel
directory.
