Re: [Cooker] proftpd install bug
That makes sense. The installer picks the wrong ftp daemon to go with anonftp. Rob On Fri Sep 15, 2000 at 09:15:50AM -0700, Robert Haddon wrote: Proftpd is a package dependency of anonftpd. [Cooker] empty printer list during install
Trying to add a remote LPD printer after selecting CUPS during the 7.2 beta install will result in a blank printer selection list. This causes the printer installation to fail. Rob
[Cooker] Xig's Accelerated X and 7.2 beta
Program: Xig's Accelerated X server for desktops (AX) Version: 5.03 (latest) Details: I could not get Gnome, sawmill, KDE, or enlightenment to work with AccelX on 7.2 beta. I got an error message about an unresolved dependency in ICEsocket. (sorry, I don't have the exact message in front of me). The only window manager I got to work was mwm.
Re: [Cooker] proftpd install bug
Proftpd is a package dependency of anonftpd. So good idea or not, you have no choice. Will fix. :) Thanks. -- GEoff
[Cooker] proftpd install bug
Packages: proftpd anonftp Version: (the one from 7.2 Beta1) The RPM install configures /etc/proftpd.conf for standalone mode AND /etc/inetd.conf super-server mode. This, of course, is invalid. It must be one or the other, but not both. Good work other than that. I'm really enjoying 7.2 so far. Regards, Robert Haddon
