Yes, and it is needed to replace the line in /etc/modules.conf "alias 
char-major-195 NVdriver" for "alias /dev/nvidia* nvidia" to tell devfsd what 
to do at start up...

Here devfs did not create the /dev/nvidia*. After a modprobe nvidia, I can 
start X.

It means that it is working fine. If you press " ' " and "a"  you get an "?", 
that is used at least in some Latin languages. This allows we, Latin 
languages users, to use international keyboards. So, please don't change it...
