I've tried removing the sources and re-adding them to no avail.

gurpmi from the command line works fine.

No!

I am too and I believe Charles has also reported the same here
identifying the problem as wget not being called

For me Evolution was working fine until today. Now I am too getting
this same error message with Evolution starting to load but failing to
provide access to email.

[borago@localhost borago]$ evolution
Waiting for component to die --
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent (1)
Waiting for component to die --
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent (2)
Waiting for component to die --
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_ShellComponent (1)

[borago@localhost borago]$ rpm -qa evolution
evolution-1.0.5-4mdk

This was directly after a reboot, ie Evolution not having previously
being run in the same session.

OK to update this I killed evolution-alarm-notify before re-running
evolution and all is fine again.

Closing Evolution gives these errors:

[borago@localhost borago]$ evolution
Waiting for component to die --
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Mail_ShellComponent (1)
Waiting for component to die --
OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Calendar_ShellComponent (1)

And I am able to rerun Evolution with access to email.

Don't know whether this provides any help.

Cheers,
Steve

Update your Mozilla 1.0 to version 1.0-04 (the newest in
   cooker/contrib, it has working PSM)

PSM isn't working here either. The latest mozilla I in cooker is
mozilla-1.0.0-2mdk unless it was updated so recently that the
  mirrors don't have it. (I mirror ftp.sunet.se, and I haven't seen
  anything newer yet).

I assume it's not working because of the g++ 3.1 issue, but I want
to know if there is some other reason.

dunno. i doubt it as the last build(s) compiled fine with PSM. it's
been already noted here that even the mozilla.org downloads have PSM
 disabled.

Just dled and installed Moz 1.0-04 and PSM now works no problem (so
far:-)

Just to update the msn2.la module exists in the
/usr/share/everybuddy/modules directory but is not recognised by
everybuddy. In the modules list it appears as unknown.

My problem with Galeon (and Mozilla) is that they dont load or run
Sun's latest Java RPMs. Either 1.3.1 or 1.4.0.

Im using the latest cooker galeon and mozilla, with most of Gnome2
 installed.

Nor with IBM's java 1.3.1, again using same latest Galeon, Mozilla and
Gnome2.
Given other problems with Mozilla rc2 I guess that would be the place
to look for the cause?

Yes, but does galeon crash if you enter a bad url such as

I see the same 'edit box cursor not following type' problem but Galeon does not crash

Does it mean all rc* versions are compatible? Can you still use
galleon with rc1 after it has been rebuilt with rc2? (Current case)

I ask because I noticed that urpmi does not force mozilla update for
 galleon.

And I noticed galeon would not work until mozilla was upgraded to rc2 would not work
with rc1
