[Cooker] sweep
Hello, I have Mandrake 7.1. I am normally using it, and suddenly I spot on gtkrellm strange cpu, disk and even net activity. Command top revealed that some process 'sweap' is doing something. After second of panic i tried man sweep, /usr/doc/sweep*. Nothink. cd /etc; grep -r sweep *. Somethink in file kmod, but does not seem to be relevant. Last chance. cd /home/httpd + grep. In html/zopedocs/ZopeContentManagersGuide/ZCMG.html is written somethink like "allows you make multiple passes through the cache, removing any unreferenced objects". Probably this one was the sweeper. ?. Is there any way how can I find all services which will be run automatically without my command ? Thank you Vlada
Re: [Cooker] Again MC and letter case
Menu/Left/Sort order.../case sensitive or in .ini line case_sensitive. Is this what you wanted ? [Cooker] aspell-cs-0.1-1mdk.i586.rpm
Hello on ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/mandrake-devel/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS I have found that the file $subj is 30MB large. Is that right ? For other languages the size is about 3-5MB. Thanx Vlada
Re: [Cooker] RPM installation retry

I know that it once happened also with installation from CD's (original ! :). CDROM probably made mistake during reading a file and I had to start the installation again. OFFTOPIC: How can I buy a CDROM, which will be silent a will work correctly ? No problem if the CDROM is only 4x, but I need silent and really working CDROM ! I tried really lot of different ones, but all of them made time to time mistake :(. ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) Vlada
[Cooker] RPM installation retry
I think it would be nice to have "retry" button, when RPMs are installed and the installer fails. It often happens when I am installing through ftp. Installer says something like "error installing RPM", "Abort/Continue". When I press Abort, I can again select which packages to install. Then it seems that installer is not trying to install RPMs which he succedded to install, but also he does not try to install the package in which he failed. I am sorry I do not have written exact error messages. Thanx Vlada
