[Cooker] [Bug 2669] [Installation] Could not uncompress second state ramdisk.
http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2669 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-09 00:03 --- I made a discovery about the unbootable CD. The CD was written on a rewritable CD. When booting, it would initially boot ok but would later start having the read errors and would eventually fail. I made a image from that same CD which wouldn't install correctly. I then wrote the image back to a CD-R. When I boot with the CD-R everything seems to work fine. So the problem does seem to be hardware related. My CD drive is about 2 years old but has problems reading rewriteable CD. --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: RESOLVED creation_date: description: When trying to install 9.1 RC1, I get the following error and then the computer just freezes: Could not uncompress second state ramdisk.
