But... when the scanner is off the icon still appears (XSane /dev/usb/scanner0) and if I click on it xsane start with the tv; I can scan images of the tv!!

Also Supermount not working however issuing supermount -i enable fixes problem of supermount on reboot. Error message continues but CD may be accessed via /mnt/cdrom in shell or normal window.
