What is strange is that it does not happen on every site. Would it depend on the ftp server? If I download the same file from ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/8/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/ and ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/Linux/Mandrake/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/ Galeon segfaults on the second address. Since sunsite is quite busy, I also had troubles downloading figlet221.zip from ftp://ftp.figlet.org/pub/figlet/program/unix/ rpmfind uses vsFTPd 1.0.0, ftp.figlet.org uses NcFTPd and I don't know what sunsite uses. In the advanced configuration menus, mozilla is found so many times (at least five). I cannot tell for sure where the problem is. I think that replacing mozilla by galeon in files types and programs/Internet Services/ftp fixed this. You can close this bug, but make sure a new user on a newly installed or updated machine is able to use galeon correctly.
