http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2115 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added URL||if ||playing sound twice doesn't ||work Status|ASSIGNED|NEEDINFO --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-12 19:01 --- Somehow fixed : at install time, we force installation of gstreamer-oss.. If people install packages by hand, they'll still have audiosink choice.. Changing bug description to catch the other bug it contains : crash when playing twice.. About crash in nautilus, it is fixed in gnome-mime-data 2.2.0-2mdk Please, next time, fill separate bug reports :) --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEEDINFO creation_date: description: Start gnome-sound-recorder. Open a wav file from /usr/share/sounds and press on the Play button. No sound is heared and the length of the file is set to 0 seconds. When closing gnome-sound-recorder, the program crashes. I could solve it by installing the gstreamer-oss package. Or gnome-sound-recorder should require this package, or the gstreamer package should require it.

https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2115 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-24 22:50 --- It's difficult to say now which audiosink was installed, because I have added several gstreamer plug-ins later. Although, I see gstreamer-alsa is installed, but I use OSS for my sound card (trident module), so could this have been the cause for the problem? About the crashes, maybe they will be solved when the bugfix release 0.6.1 of gstreamer comes out... --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: ASSIGNED creation_date: description: Start gnome-sound-recorder. https://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2115 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-22 11:35 --- The problem is not solved completely yet now. Playing a sound works one time, if you try to play something a second time, it does not play. Also, when opening a wav file by double clicking on it in Nautilus, gnome-sound-recorder always crashes immediately. --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: Start gnome-sound-recorder.
