I have found the right setting : the input is : Mdk 9.0, kmix : Line 1 Mdk 9.1, kmix : Aux The CD input is without effect ( Mdk 9.0 and Mdk 9.1 ) I don't use often this feature. IMHO, the input CD was efficient formerly. The 2 distros are on 2 disks, nothing is common except lilo FYI : Modules --- /etc/modules.conf Mdk 9.0 9.1 contains : above snd-emu10k1 snd-pcm-oss alias sound-slot-0 snd-emu10k1 The other lines are about eth0, eth1, scsi Now, I am listening a record with kscd and Mdk 9.0. Kmix shows that input is Line 1 and not CD My card : - Vendeur: Creative Labs Autres pilotes: audigy:emu10k1 Bus: PCI IDs du matériel: 1102:2:1102:20 Position sur le bus: 2:b:0 Description: SB Live!
