When I go to install coooker RC2 on a clean machine, DrakX doesn't allow for me
to install the packages on the second and third ISO cds. It seems the "avaialble
packages" are only for the first installation CD. Also, when I install the base
system (since that's pretty much all I can do), urpmi doesn't recognize the
second or third CDs as sources.

Could the installer at least warn the user about this? I had this happen on one
of my machines (64MB RAM but some gets used for onboard video) and I was
wondering why it only installed off disc 1. Yes, I did get a "low resources"
warning message, but I don't think that message warned about not being able to
install from discs 2 and 3.

Yes. Unfortunately this bug is still valid in final release.
(And a duplicate to 2950)

I had to configure the sources manually afterwards since they were not
preconfigured during the install.

There should be a problem here, I think there was a hack to allow
install configured the other sources while there was not taken into
account by the installer itself.

"Should", yes, but this is not possible, sorry.

But after installation, are these other sources automatically
configured? Or do you need to add a source for cd #2 and cd #3?

Yes, the machine I installed it on has 64mb RAM. If the computer has less than
or equal to 64mb RAM, it should still be allowed to select the files needed even
if they are on other CDs IMO. My bug was in reference to actions during the
installation. The urpmi issue was regarding the fact the other 2 installation
CDs were not in the sources list (which i know can be changed, just very
inconvenient).

Cheers,
Steve
