[Cooker] [Bug 4449] [gimp] Gimp doesn't start from KDE menu
http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4449 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever Confirmed||1 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-04-08 17:46 --- $ gimp-remote -n -f gives: $ gimp-remote -n -f gimp-remote version 1.2.5 Tells a running Gimp to open a (local or remote) image file. Usage: gimp-remote [options] [FILE|URI]... Valid options are: -h --help Output this help. -v --versionOutput version info. -n --newStart gimp if no active gimp window was found. -f --force Force startup, even if no file in given. Example: gimp-remote http://www.gimp.org/icons/frontpage-small.gif or: gimp-remote localfile.png Seems like -f option (I think Fred Crozat added this initially) is not working. $ gimp-remote -n $FILE works (both in case of already running gimp, and no running gimp). So, it's -f flag that is broken (should open a gimp window even if no file was given). -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. --- Reminder: --- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: NEW creation_date: description: using gimp-1.2.5-3mdk The command used in menu is "gimp-remote -n -f" which sould work according "man gimp-remote".
