------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-22-09 02:53 ------- On the other PC : Asus P4PE, chip "as99127f" , I have no problem. The first time, I had : fan1: 2265 RPM (min = 1500 RPM, div = 4) ALARM After editing /etc/sensors.conf and reset of sensors, it works fine. I have noticed that the output of sensors gives: alarms: beep_enable: Sound alarm enabled However I have heard no alarm the first time ! And there is no mention of alarms in /etc/sensors.conf or in documentation. I guess that this is the problem on the other computer. It should be better to package sensors with sound alarm disabled. -- Configure bugmail: http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: When lm_sensors is launched, it makes the beeper sound continuously and loudly at about 1000Hz.
