Re: [Cooker] 7.1 XFree86 3.3.6 Fails
On my banshee video card on the upgrade to 7.1 I get a stupid error about font "fixed" missing... and it just goes to a black screen so to dodge this problem, i told it to use my old config... that worked but it turned on virtural screen sizes which was a pain to remove dave On Tue, 13 Jun 2000, you wrote: I thought Mandrake 7.0 was the best distro ever and couldn't wait for 7.1 but I thought that you released it too early and after downloading it I see I was right to be worried. Re: [Cooker] 7.1 XFree86 3.3.6 Fails
To be honest, I really don't know, I join this email list to actually get trained over on-line on how to use this. Did you tried to find the rpm manually... like using awk, or sed, "ls *.rpm" while in the mnt/cdrom drive.Sorry, I am kind of like what you call it ambitious person. My developing skill is 3.4 on the scale out of 10. 8 == c++. I am only 16. I apologize, for this hassle.
