acents is a known problem, we are currently trying to fix it.
for DraConf/Mandrake Control Center it is fixed in rc1 or later.

Humm . Maybe the same problem with eroaster .
Could you try it on 2.2.19 kernel ( just to see if it's not a kernel related pb )

[Cooker] Beta 3 Aurora and Xcdroast problems

2001-04-08 Thread Francisco Alcaraz Ariza

Hello folks, I am having some problems with Aurora and Xcdroast under beta 2
and I would like to show you and look for help:

Aurora: In my Spanish installation the text appear with gaps corresponding
accents letters (á, é, í, ó, ú). De defect is the new fashions Aurora, but I
prefer the old one or the gMonitor. Both are avalaible at DrakConf-->boot,
but if I do any of the changes the start became as text mode :-(
just the new standar fashions runs.

Xcdroast: I can copy cds without problems. Problems to create cds;
masterizing an image runs well; this image could be burned if I start again
MDK 7.2, but in beta 2 of 8.0 when I try to burn the previously created
image, xcdroast crashes with a "Segment violation" message if I run it from a
konsole. In fact, I have two warnings when the program start:
"No set-uid bit on /usr/bin/mkisofs"
"No set-uid bit on /usr/bin/readcd"

Any ideas? or could be beta bugs?
