I did a fresh RC1 install the other day and the /dev/cdrom link was
broken.  Ditto when I upgraded to the latest cooker.  There was no
/dev/cdroms directory, no /dev/scd0, and nothing in
/dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target2/lun0.  Doing:
        modprobe sr_mod
fixed it.  Is this supposed to be loaded at boot-time?  It tries to do:
        modprobe scsi_hostadapter
at boot-up and that command seg faults.  Are they related?

Let me know if you want to see config files.  It's an Adaptec 29160
(using the aic7xxx module).
