-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Having just upgraded to Mozilla-1.2, I spent about 15 minutes making Mozilla pleasing to the eyes again. For some reason all default fonts were set to Andale Mono (which is weird). Would it be possible to have some better fonts by default? I currently have (Edit-Preferences-Appearance-Fonts): Proportional: Sans Serif Serif : Nimbus Roman No9 L Sans-serif : Luxi Sans Cursive : Helvetica Fantasy : Luxi Serif Monospace : Courier I don't know where all the fonts are used, so someone who knows all the fonts better may have some better suggestions, but Mozilla certainly looks better now than it did with Andale Mono (don't know how it got that ...) Or does mozilla have better fonts by default, and I had just stuffed them up previously? Buchan P.S. Re: [Cooker] Default fonts in Mozilla
you can wait for mozilla 1.2.1 which was released to correct a DHTML bug, one of its new features is: For distributors of Mozilla-based products (but not enabled in Mozilla yet because many linux installations don't yet support it) XFT support has been implemented, bringing the latest in Linux font anti-aliasing to Mozilla. Build with --enable-xft on a system with the xft libs to use this feature. you can read at: http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.2.1/ i hope this can help. - Original Message - From: Frederic Crozat [EMAIL PROTECTED] Newsgroups: liste.cooker To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, December 03, 2002 11:36 AM Subject: Re: [Cooker] Default fonts in Mozilla On Tue, 03 Dec 2002 11:25:03 +0200, Buchan Milne wrote: -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Having just upgraded to Mozilla-1.2, I spent about 15 minutes making Mozilla pleasing to the eyes again.
