Same with zip disk.
df remains the same and space can only be regained if disk is formatted.
Unless you delete the files/dir in win, then that extra space will be
avaiable which is a crappy way to have to do it.

I just deleted a large directory from FAT jaz drive (almost the whole
Cygwin distribution). Still both before rm -rf and after df -k shows me
exactly the same values which is rather surprising.

Looks like either df or rm -r do not work properly on FAT, does not it?
