This "feature" of Xp really annoy me, because me know what I want to do, or I just want to put the CD in the tray while working and I'm annoy aby a window everytime. Please not. I think the best practice will be dynamic icon on desktop but I don't know if dynamic support firewire.

Hi , I would like to use only linux and only linux (not windows XP like now) . One of the big problem is simplicity why when I plug on my Firewire I doesn't got like on widows xp a windows with all related programs / action . worst , I've seen on ie1324.org there is a possibility to do that . It would be a great feature , but not only for firwire , also for usb , cd insertion etc... Please do it , I think it will be great for desktop user thanks .
