That is the package I am running. This problem became apparent when I
used urpmi to update a 9.1 box to Cooker.

I have no ~/.menu file and the /etc/menu/menu file looks fine. The
problem is the menudrakeentry file, and fi I delete it, it is recreated
with the error. Any other files that could be causing the problem?

I can confirm this problem, but it should be fixed in
0.9.6-0.pre9_1mdk. Can you test it with that package version? It's
possible you have to remove some broken entries from /etc/menu and
~/.menu before it will work again.

[Cooker] Fluxbox tripping up Menudrake?

2003-10-12 Thread Greg Meyer
I am having trouble posting this on bugzilla, so I apologize
for spamming this to the maintainers.

My hunch is that this is a problem with the fluxbox packaging,
especially since a recent entry in the fluxbox specfile was
to add menu entries.

Somehow, the menu entries for fluxbox are tripping up
menudrake. When running menudrake with fluxbox installed, all
of my menus disappear. If I run update-menus as root, I get
errors. The line in menudrakeentry with the error is a
fluxbox entry. I am running most recent cooker.
