Regards, Essam Hammam. -- what I do is: install the hackernel and the hackernel-headers run 'lilo' and keep the old kernel as linux-old and the hackernel as default. Don't forget to add your new kernel to lilo and run it...! sk

Any help is highly appreciated. well... if you use lilo and don't need an initrd (aka no scsi disk), just rpm -i the hackkernel, and edit the /etc/lilo.conf accordingly, finally run lilo and that should be done!
