[Cooker] Memory Leak... or what is it...?
I have reported this several times, still no one (@Mandrake) mentioning anything about it... That is serious! ;-) I just upgraded packages to reflect latest Beta-2 and still have this problem. Right after turning on X using desktop KDE, I have noticed that reflects something around 175M when checking with GPS, and under CPU and memory I see a very low (if any) use of the swap space. Well.. after a few hours, let's say two or three hours X has increased to 375M and swapping goes up to 180024 (used) 342048 (free) 522072 (total) I have a Pentium IV 1.4 Ghz. 128Mb in RAM 512Mb Swap Intel D850GB, NVidia TNT2-64 w/32Mb. It has to be something related to, KDE? XFree...? or the Nvidia drivers? All I knowis, it has been running since mdk-8.0 thru 8.1 without troubles, this happened AFTER Beta-1... Any ideas, or anybody has also noticed it. Looking reall Nice, with many improvements from previous MDK's thou! Sergio Korlowsky
