I know everyone misses Goats from GNOME 2.0, and Sticky Notes from GNOME 1.x before it. Well, there's a new applet, again called Sticky Notes, that works fine in GNOME 2.2. In fact, it's part of the gnome-applets CVS module (at least since 20 Feb 2003, maybe longer), but it's not in Mandrake's package.
So I created a separate package for it: sticky-notes-applet-1.0.11-1mdk.src.rpm. The applet shows up in the Accessories category. And everything seems to work without a hitch. When Mandrake goes to a newer version of gnome-applets that includes this applet, please remember to obsolete this package!
