You can use urpmi.addmedia test file:/

It will build a hdlist /var/lib/urpmi/hdlist.test.cz

Is there a way to generate an hdlist from a dir of RPMS?  I get alot of
questions regarding KDE 2.2 on Mandrake 8.0 and I would like to just give
them a urmpi source and then auto select.  I tried gendistrib, but that
seems to be for regenerating a full distribution, not a small cluster of
files.
