[Cooker] OT: Where's the beef ?
Just out of curiosity (this being the first time I've been involved with an MDK beta), where does one look to find all the policies and procedures for what's going on here ? Such as maintaining a cooker mirror, burning CDs from it, and so forth. Also, are there any docs on creating Mandrake RPMs (as opposed to regular ones) for contribution ? As far as debugging goes, are there any internal docs about the structure of the startup and shutdown scripts, as regards what lives where ? I've been a Slackware person since the early 90's until I picked up MDK 7.1 (or was it 7.2 ?), and the first thing that struck me was that a lot of things weren't where I was used to finding them. I've pawed through some of it to get new hardware working, but if there's a road map I could certainly use it. TIA

The best I could do is http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7.1-Manual/ref-guide/s1-boot-init-shutdown-booting.html -- Sitsofe | http://sucs.org/~sits/
