Yes some other people had this. I think this is a problem between the Mesa
of build (3.2) and your Mesa (probablu 3.1).

Btw, this version was not usable, but now in the latest version I provided
the necessary data files.

It's 10 megs, but it works :-).

You need acceleration, of course. (and latest Mesa-3.2 only works with
Voodoo for the moment).

 So I upgraded to the latest ld.so and ldconfig from cooker...  Still the same
 
 Then I downloaded the src fot FlightGear and SimGear and tried to compile and got
 some error message about openGL libraries missing.

Did you install Mesa and Mesa-devel before you tried to build?
