Oh, I just thought the address mentioned in that web page was wrong.

No, it doesn't bounce, like [EMAIL PROTECTED] does (or did last
time I tried it, which was last week).

They'd better use cyrus-imapd and configure [EMAIL PROTECTED] as
 a shared mailbox ;-)

Sure, or maybe better, if people outside Mandrakesoft are going to help,
make it an alias (to a shared mailbox inside Mandrakesoft, and to the
externals).

BTW, something like this may also be beneficial to the MandrakeClub,
maybe we should take it up with Deno when he's back from his skiing trip.

Seems maybe it's time to make Lenny scale (aka give more people read

Or juste make ftp.mandrake-linux.com/incoming available from klama, so as to
make contributers able to build what is there.

That's what I meant, klama is a 'build machine' is it not?

Of course, it doesn't help for packages in main (except for people with
write access to main).

Still waiting for efax to update to 9.0a which I uploaded to incoming
... it's on the mdkvsdb list too.

In case you hadn't read them, this page gives an outline of the process
(scroll down to How to contribute some packages to Cooker?):
http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/cookerdevel.php3

And did you read this before packaging the RPMs? It deals with
Mandrake-specific rules and methods for RPM packaging.
http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/howtos/mdk-rpm/

In particular, you seem to have missed something about the package name:
The release is a number followed by mdk (stands for Mandrake; this is
absolutely mandatory) which is incremented at each new build of the
package.
http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/howtos/mdk-rpm/building.html#AEN204

So, your package should be sdd-1.31-1mdk.i586.rpm.
