[Cooker] Re: opengk-1.1.1-1mdk

Hi,

The problem is that pwlib and openh323 are the main libraries required for
these applications ... and this is synchronised with gnomemeeting. This
last package often brings some patches to the libraries and do not always
uses the latest libraries packages. Openmcu, opengk, ohphone always depend
on the latest libraries versions ... so sometimes we cannot recompile ...
until the next pwlib-openh323-gnomemeeting versions ... I'm not sure I
make myself clear here ...

 On 9.1:

 urpmi opengk
To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed (12

 opengk-1.1.1-1mdk.i586
 openh323_1-1.11.2-5mdk.i586
 pwlib1-1.4.7-3mdk.i586
 Is this OK? (Y/n)
 installing /home/Mandrake-9.1/Mandrake/RPMS2/pwlib1-1.4.7-3mdk.i586.rpm

 Preparing...##
1:pwlib1 ##
2:openh323_1 ##
3:opengk ##

/usr/bin/opengk: relocation error: /usr/bin/opengk: undefined symbol:
 __ti5PHTML

 ???

And as a side note, I tried several hours yesterday to update all of the apps
from http://www.openh323.org/ using the cooker src rpms on my local machine,
but failed. I think this is the strangest stuff I have ever touched..., the
 build mechanism is a mess...

Well, a little...

I checked how PLD did it, maybe you should check it out?

I just can't figure out how to build the applications against pwlib and
openh323 from 9.1/cooker. Whatever I try there's allways some strange header
file not found in an even stranger location, I just gave it up... Default
PWLIBDIR is hardcoded as %{buildroot}/*. If you set the PWLIBDIR env to
/usr/share/pwlib, that won't work either... This is a total mess!
