Laurent, will it be possible to add a config file to lisa (for kio_lan)
to use short hostnames by default (improves behaviour connecting to
win9x machines if DNS works). Please see the attached file.

Also, KDE printing defaults to use BSD LPR, which although it works with
CUPS, has issues, defaulting to CUPS would be better IMHO. Attached
patch to kdeprintrc should fix that.

[Since lisa seems to work well out-the-box, a nice touch would be adding
a "Local Network" or similar icon, see the comparison Mandrake 9.1/SuSE
in this article:

(the comparison is a bit clueless though, since the only difference is
that SuSE must have picked up DNS correctly).]
