I has tried else several combinations, but constantly get mistake:
"Fatal server error: Unsupported keyboard type 4 layout 54" :(
I with XFree have little experience, can something do not so?

P.S.:Beside me request: possible insert in the kernel a support
UATA66(UATA100) for intel version at least?
And: I can give console keymap for sun5c-ru keyboard.

O-h, yes! I has done that you asked, and this works!

GC> 2. can you try with xmms or with sox (playing a .wav file)
sox sound.wav -t au /dev/audio (/dev/dsp) - this works.
sox sound.wav -t ossdsp /dev/dsp - I has got mistake 'sox: Invalid
audio buffer 0' :(.
I has started 'play' and has got this error.
P.S.: You think that error in audio programs?

[Cooker] USparc 7.1b2: troubles

2000-07-18 Thread Roman Bondarev

Hello!
I have following troubles:
1) I can't start X(kdm,startx) - I get error 'Unsupported keyboard
type 4 layout 54'. But, I have Sun type 5(c-russian) keyboard.
2) I can't start mpg123 and any sound player - I get error
'sys32_ioctl: Unknown cmd fd(10) cmd(c004500a) arg(e904).
SNDCTL_DSP_SETFRAGMENT: Invalid argument.' But, I start sndconfig and
hear voice of Linus :).
Before Mandrake 7.1b2 I used Redhat 6.1 Sparc and was not similar
problems :(.
