Strange, 2.0.3-799 the new version I downloaded and I get the following
error when trying to compile the modules... Any idea???

[root@pplaptop /root]# vmware-config.pl

AW: [Cooker] Vmware and Kernel 2.4.0

You'll have to use a new Version. I use VMware-2.0.3-799 and
the installation works perfectly however i compiled kernel 2.4
from source and i don't know if it works with the precompiled
Mandrake kernel. Just try the new version of vmware.
