I can't seem to build a bootable kernel anymore. It gets to: Loading linux.....
And then reboots. Very strange. However, two major and influential pieces have undergone updates on Cooker recently: binutils and gcc. One of these would appear to be the guilty party. I've tried grub and lilo, both fail. I can boot an older kernel, built before the binutils/gcc updates, but not anything compiled since. On the other hand, if I build a kernel on another machine, it's fine. John
