No. And even if they would, it would be nice to have totem used as a DEFAULT-skin in Mandrake. Hi, I couldn't agree more. If someone wants to use xine instead of MPlayer, totem is the best choice as a frontend. The original skinned UI is really unintuitive while totem is easy to use. If there wouldn't be the typical crashes caused by xine-lib it would be a perfect player. -- Götz Waschk <> master of computer science <> University of Rostock http://wwwtec.informatik.uni-rostock.de/~waschk/waschk.asc for PGP key --> Logout Fascism! <--

Hello, Probably too late since we're in package freeze, but I want to have mentioned it anyway: Xine is a great media player but it's UI pretty much sucks and doesn't adhere to any guideline whatsoever. Fortunately Xine is modular by design and there are a few much better graphical frontends available for it. One of them is totem, which has 27 votes currently on MandrakeClub. Only today I noticed it has not been included in the 9.1 package list. I believe the inclusion of such a (GNOME HIG compliant) frontend for Xine would really add quality to the distro. regards, -- Reinout van SchouwenArtificial Intelligence student email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mobile phone: +31-6-44360778 GPG public key http://www.cs.vu.nl/~reinout/reinout.asc MandrakeClub member
