Cooker 20011224 Getting the sndconfig message Yamaha Corporation YMF-740C (DS-1L Audio Controller) "not supported"
However this chip has worked since 7.x EVERYTIME What am I missing..... Other than that most things seem to be functioning well. Install was decent Am getting : "kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev 02:00 (floppy), sector 0" and "kernel: cdrom: open failed." messages every few minutes in the logs ? Supermount works and the cdrom works and the usb Visor connection worked on the first try !!! Cannot seem to get 32bpp using XFree86-4.x which was supported since 7.x on this machine but will investigate further . Any help with the sound would be appreciated !! William Bouterse Talkeetna Ak.
