It would be an idea if more people with write access to contrib had access to incoming (or if it is the case already, that they knew how to access it from a build machine or similar):
ftp://ftp.linux-mandrake.com/incoming/ In incoming, I see a package I maintain, which is on my rebuild list, but which I had a chance to look at yet: ftp://ftp.linux-mandrake.com/incoming/gdal-1.1.8-1mdk.src.rpm (whoever uploaded this could have at least cc'ed me, a copy of the spec and any new patches would have been nice too). So, must I now update this myself without any input from whoever uploaded this?? Also: (extracts from : From: mdkVSdeb-o the Ruby bot <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Maintainers] mdkVSdeb-o-report-2003-01-16 ) Hi. This is the report of `mdkVSdeb-o'. This robot's aim is to compare packages packages from Cooker and from Debian pool. Here is the whole report. Each package maintainer shall receive a personal email concerning her packages. Maintainer Package Mdk-version Deb-version <alemaire> efax 0.9 0.9a In incoming is this: ftp://ftp.linux-mandrake.com/incoming/efax-0.9a-1mdk.src.rpm 0.9a fixes issues with some winmodes, such as the Lucent Tech in my IBM Thinkpad600X, whic is why I packaged it and uploaded it. The maintainer listed by rpmmon has been mailed twice to no effect, and the address devel@mandrakesoft has bounced on both occasions I cc'ed it.
