With LM8.2 Beta's 1 & 2 I get a pop-up informational window when logging into KDE.
==================================== X: Informational Sound server informational message: Error while initializing the sound driver. device /dev/dsp can't be opened (Device or resource busy) The sound server will continue using the null output device ==================================== The login sound does not play. Sound works after login. The logout sound works. This only happens on login. Is this a bug or what? How can I fix this? In HardDrake my Sound card info is: Ensoniq 5880 Audio PCI Kernel Module: es1371 Thanks Jason
