[Cooker] evolutiondoesn't work
hi, i update my computer from cooker, and now evolution doesn't start... it gives a warning and dies: evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot access Bonobo/ConfigDatabase on wombat: (IDL:OAF/GeneralError:1.0) and he opens a dialog box with the following text: Cannot initialize the Ximian Evolution shell: Configuration Database nto found then dies bye, ggabor
Re: [Cooker] evolutiondoesn't work
Yeah, I ran into this problem yesterday too. My problem at least was related to my updating of mozilla to 1.0. It appears that even rc3 stuck it's *.so files in /usr/lib/ (which is appearantly where evolution looks for them), but mozilla-1.0.0 now just leaves them in /usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.0. If you do a ln -s /usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.0/*.so /usr/lib/. you should be able to fire up evolution.
