Re: [Cooker] kernel upgrade still does not create initrd, nor replace links

My first install was a clean install. Maybe around
2.4.3-10 or something... how would I clean it up? I
also noticed other people complaining about it
(generally after the fact when they tried to reboot)

[Cooker] kernel upgrade still does not create initrd, nor replace links

2001-04-17 Thread SI Reasoning

I have enclosed a screenshot of my /boot directory
after doing an upgrade from 2.4.3-19 to 2.4.3-20.
Notice that inird is linked to a non-existant 2.4.3-19
while there only exists a "newly" created
initrd-2.4.3-12. Also notice that all links are to
non-existant 2.4.3-19. The system seems to remove the
old kernel and replace it with the new kernel but
creates an incorrect inird and does not change the
links to the new kernel.

I am off to do another make install!
