Duplicated here : it seems to be a freetype2 bug..

Until it is fixed, try running mrproject using GDK_USE_XFT=0

Great, thanks!  That works.  Just a heads up if you
rebuild mrproject anytime soon, it's now failing due
to unpackaged files.

I tried recompiling it and that didn't fix it, so I
don't know what the problem is.
