I got my hands on another machine, and it still reports VERSION file missing (right after probing serial ports) on current Cooker. usb mouse (automaticly detected and handled at install and afterwards) XFBdev automatically chosen with unknown graphic card (kernel fb installed, lilo.conf adapted, XF86Config generated) new themes simplified newbie install (less steps displayed, less questions) kppp configuration (vanilla ppp coming soon) kickstart is there (alpha), also preconfiguration... see /root/auto_inst.cfg.pl happy testing!
